Art Therapy
In my clinic, I offer art therapy and coaching for adolescents, adults, and seniors. The clinic is a safe space for emotional expression, self-reflection, healing, and personal growth.
My name is Diana sade, and I hold a master’s degree in art therapy from the University of Haifa. I am also a graduate of the coaching program at Karkur College. I have over a decade of experience working in the field, including working with children and adolescents on the autism spectrum, as well as youth and children with various emotional and psychological challenges. I also train students in therapy techniques.
In my clinic, I provide emotional therapy that incorporates the arts.
The therapy sessions take place at my clinic located at 5 Carmel Street, Hadera israel.
So, what is emotional therapy through the arts?
Art therapy, or emotional therapy through the arts, is a psychological therapy method that combines various techniques from the world of arts as diagnostic and therapeutic tools.
In my clinic, I combine psychotherapy, including talk therapy, with a process of expression and creation using art materials, drama, and movement. Each client chooses the modality that suits them, and the dosage is adjusted accordingly.
This combination allows for direct access to the inner world of the clients, helping them cope with emotional and psychological complexities.
Art therapy offers unique and interactive experiences that enable clients to explore and deal with internal difficulties, improve self-esteem, reduce emotional noise, and strengthen connections.
How does art therapy help?
Art therapy assists in self-discovery, emotional and behavioral recognition and regulation, self-awareness development, anger management, social skills improvement, enhancing reality perception and social understanding, anxiety reduction, improving self-image and self-confidence, dealing with loss and trauma, and coping with transitions and crises.
The goal of therapy is to improve clients’ daily functioning in various life domains, including academic, emotional, social, and relational aspects, as well as enhancing their overall self-perception.
Who can benefit from therapy?
Art therapy is effective for people of all ages who experience emotional or psychological difficulties and need a space for listening, inclusion, and gaining coping skills. Art therapy is also suitable for individuals with attention and concentration disorders, learning disabilities, sensory processing difficulties, and communication impairments. Using art as a form of expression contributes significantly to developing the ability to express and communicate emotions and self-awareness.
